Retrofit Project Overview

I. Project Background

This project involves the power distribution system retrofit for an industrial park's wastewater treatment station. The station is equipped with multiple high-power (132 kW) main sewage pumps, which are classified as high-inertia, heavy-load equipment. The original motors utilized a direct-on-line (DOL) starting method, resulting in massive inrush currents.
